Postpartum Care

Informative and Compassionate

• Immediate Postpartum I will be there to make sure you are comfortable.

• I will encourage infant bonding, help with establishing breastfeeding, and protect your family environment.

• I will make sure you and baby are settled in and your first feeding has taken place.

• I can assist in transporting your placenta for encapsulation if desired and will plan a follow up Postpartum appointment for a few days to a week after delivery to ensure successful nursing relationship, and/or troubleshoot any early issues.

• I will lend valuable resources post delivery if needed, and I will also be there to lend an ear, reassure you and help you navigate those early newborn days. 

• I would love to listen to your birth story and offer any answers to questions you might have.
